Sauvage

Sauvage is a Maine-based company that focuses on empowering clients to express their needs and desires in a relationship. From 1:1 coaching sessions to providing products that ignite excitement and play in the bedroom, owner Suzie’s goal is for you to know what you want in your intimacy and how to express that to your partner. 

Suzie approached me wanting to create a strong, feminine, luxurious brand and expressed she wanted a Jaguar to be her main symbol. Focusing on the elegance and power a Jaguar embodies, I created multiple Jaguars in different poses to allow for different brand positionings. Along with a custom wordmark that flows and sways, dripping with sensuality and high-end Vogue-like characteristics. Another icon that is heavy with symbolism in this brand is the snake. The snake plays well in Sauvage’s drop caps and iconography, representing fertility and rebirth. I also had the opportunity to explore her icons, creating illustrations such as candelabra to mean setting the mode, hands bonded by snake for bondage + BDSM, and so on. This project has pushed my skills to new levels and I am utterly obsessed with the outcome.
